1 cup Rivendale Maple Syrup
1/2 cup Water
1/4 cup Fresh Star Anise
Cook ingredients down in a saucepan on low to medium heat for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, to steep.
Add 1/4 cup brown sugar and boil for 30 seconds and remove from heat. Let syrup cool overnight.
