About the Origins of Blume Honey Water
How Blume
Blossomed
Our honey water journey began when beverage industry specialist Michele Meloy Burchfield was introduced to the idea of honey water by a coach. He was mixing honey with water for his athletes, harkening back to the original Olympians who used the combination for natural hydration and spikeless energy. Michele, already a believer in all things honey, was intrigued with the concept and instinctively knew there was a way to make honey water much more playful on the palate.
Our beautiful, healthy waters are lightly sweetened with a touch of organic honey. With three refreshing flavors each featuring subtle yet tantalizing tasting notes, Blume Honey Water is proud of our organic certification and our mission to protect honey bees.

The beverage category is Michele’s playground. As a sales and marketing expert with 25+ years of experience, she knows the industry inside and out. Having spent nearly 15 years at the Boston Beer Company, she helped build the Sam Adams brand before starting her own consulting business.
Simply put, Michele never loses sight of what really matters for a beverage brand: the liquid inside the bottle. It’s no wonder she’s helped so many beverage companies successfully bring their brands to market. She is also an avid cyclist, skier and tennis player and a green-thumbed outdoorswoman with the backyard gardens to prove it.
